Data Imaging
SDG's Data Imaging solutions integrate the rugged Ricoh Caplio 500SE camera with intelligent data management hardware and software. The Caplio 500SE boasts integrated through-the-lens bar code scanning, or an optional laser scanner (shown in photo). The bar code or pre-loaded memo data is integrated into digital images creating a permanent association between the image and data. The integration of data with an image saves time by streamlining your workflow. The data is managed with software rather than administrative effort. Images can be imprinted with the data, uploaded to a server using the network, renamed based on the data, and much more.
The Network PhotoLink provides set-and-forget uploads of images to your network. Simply plug the camera into the PhotoLink and it takes care of the rest. Images are transferred to a server where they can be placed on the Internet or processed further. The PhotoLink is based on reliable hardware from Norhtec along with image management software from SDG Systems.
