Nomad Qtopia2-6rc1 Release

Print PDF

The Nomad Qtopia2-6rc1 Release is now available for Download:

http://developer.sdgsystems.com/nomad/updates/sdgboot_nomad_1234.sdg
http://developer.sdgsystems.com/nomad/updates/nomad-qt2mt-ang2007.12-6rc1.tgz

This is based on kernel 2.6.29.6, and it uses the UBIFS file system rather than JFFS2.  You will notice better boot performance with UBIFS. You first need to install the latest bootloader release, which supports UBIFS, as follows:

sudo dfu-util -c 2 -a sdgboot -D sdgboot_nomad_1234.sdg

When the flash of SDGBoot is successful, reboot the device by pressing the power button.  You may then reflash the .sdg files in nomad-qt2mt-ang2007.12-6rc1.tgz in the usual way.
