The Pidion BI-500 is a rugged Bluetooth® 1D/2D barcode scanner with optional RFID reader and GPS capability. Designed for maximum utility, this scanner supports Bluetooth HID and SPP profiles, which means it can easily interface with Windows, iOS (iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch), and Android devices. It also features an integrated GPS. The BI-500 is drop tested at 5 feet (1.5m) and is IP54 rated for protection against dust. Additionally, with a storage capacity of 32MB, up to 300,000 bar codes can be stored at any time. With a battery life of about 35 hours with a steady one scan-per-minute rate thanks to its 3.7V, 1130mAh Li-ion battery, this scanner is a must-have for all your difficult, prolonged scanning needs.
